Beyoncé and Jay-Z pack on PDA during rare public date night to basketball game

Beyoncé and Jay-Z enjoyed a rare public date night on Saturday evening, enjoying a game of basketball while cuddling up on the courtside.

The couple, who have been married for 13 years, look like loved-up teens as they stared into each others’ eyes and snuggled up to enjoy the match.

Hitting the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, the duo were supporting the Brooklyn Nets as they were up against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Looking stylish as always, Beyoncé rocked an oversized, crystal-studded black jacket paired with a black PVC dress and shades.

She completed the look with a silver choker that matched the silver tones of the studs on her jacket, a face mask and a pair of stiletto pumps by sought-after shoemaker Christian Louboutin.

Jay-Z, on the other hand, matched his wife in a full, casual black outfit, with a Rhude baseball cap, white trainers and a huge watch on his wrist.

Landing a set of coveted courtside seats - allowing them to essentially be right in the middle of the action, Beyoncé and Jay-Z sat next to Travis Scott, A$AP Ferg and Trevor Noah.

Notoriously private, both musicians were seen sharing affectionate moments during the game, including resting their foreheads against each other and Halo singer Beyoncé gently stroking her husband’s arm.

No one can blame them for wanting some downtime together - with both having record-breaking careers while juggling their three children Blue Ivy, nine, and three-year-old twins Rumi and Sir Carter.

At the beginning of this year, Beyonce broke records at the Grammys by becoming the most celebrated star at the ceremony ever.

The year 2021 also marks the fifth anniversary of her landmark album, Lemonade, which talks about forgiveness in the wake of infidelity.

"I’m grateful that this body of work has resonated so deeply with so many people," the star wrote on Instagram back in April.

"I’m so thankful for all the beautiful souls involved in making one of my favorite pieces of art. As I celebrate five years of LEMONADE, I encourage everyone to continue healing, loving, forgiving and uplifting.

"I hope you find joy today."

In May, it was revealed that Jay-Z would be landing a spot in the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame - though in a truly hilarious grounding moment, found himself on the school run as he found out.

What’s more, his daughter Blue didn’t even care that much.

Speaking to LeBron James about the moment, he explained: "When I got the announcement, I was taking Blue to schooI… I was like, 'This ain't no celebration!'

“She walked away, I was like, 'Yo, give me a kiss, I'm in the Hall of Fame!’

“She's like: '...Bye, dad.'"

But his relationship with his daughter he claims changed him as a person, forcing him to consider others before himself.

“It’s amazing. It’s a very grounding thing… I didn’t learn how to swim until Blue was born,” he said.

“There goes everything you need to know. This is a metaphor for our relationship.

“If she ever fell in the water and I couldn’t get her, I couldn’t even fathom that thought. I gotta learn how to swim. That’s it,” he explained.

“That was the beginning of our relationship.”
