Beyoncé and Blue Ivy dazzle in matching Alexander McQueen dresses at The Lion King premiere

The world premiere for The Lion King was always guaranteed to be a glamorous occasion.

With a cast including Beyoncé, who voices the character of Nala in the remake of the 1994 Disney classic, the red carpet arrivals had been highly anticipated - and, of course, Queen B stole the show.

The 37-year-old pulled out all the sartorial stops, quite literally, dripping in diamonds as she donned a dazzling bespoke crystal chandelier embroidered tuxedo dress with tulle crystal-adorned skirt by Alexander McQueen.

And the sparkle did not stop there.

As well as accessorising with an embellished box clutch, statement earrings, necklace and heels - Beyonce also walked hand-in-hand with her daughter, Blue Ivy, who wore a matching look.

The seven-year-old wore the same delicate crystal covered skirt with a slightly subtler tuxedo jacket, which featured dégradé crystal accents on the shoulders and was paired with a white shirt.

The youngster also accessorised with equally glistening accessories, opting for floral diamond studs and two crystal hair ties around her double top knots.

Bey and Blue Ivy are no strangers to mother-daughter dressing, but their entrance at the The Lion King premiere tops them all.
