Beverley Callard says she's 'extremely jealous' of I'm A Celeb 2021 campmates

Former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! contestant Beverley Callard has said she and her fellow 2020 campmates are "extremely jealous" of the stars set to head to Gwrych Castle in Wales this year.

The Coronation Street actress joined ITV's Lorraine for a chat about her new show with Jordan North after the pair struck up a friendship during last year's series.

After discussing Beverley & Jordan: Destination Wedding, which sees the pair embark on a road trip through Spain, the star was asked about this year's I'm A Celebrity. You can read more about the confirmed start date here.

And despite admitting she "loathed" waiting to find out if she had been picked for a trial, as well as hating the cold at the 19th century Grade I building, Beverley admitted she is jealous of those getting to experience I'm A Celebrity in 2021.

When asked if she would go back into the castle, Beverley said she was "50/50."

Speaking about the trials, she told Lorraine: "I loathed it, I absolutely dreaded it being me and so that side of it I hated. And I hated the cold, really the bedroom was -1 degree. It was horrific."

But despite this, Beverly said she and her fellow campmates had all been reminiscing about their time on the show.

"We've all been talking, the twelve of us from last year, and saying we are extremely jealous of anybody who is going in."

When asked what the "best piece of advice" she could give to this year's campmates would be, Beverley replied: "Take the thickest knickers you can find. You will be freezing."

The I'm A Celebrity 2021 full line-up has been revealed according to reports. It includes Good Morning Britain's Richard Madeley, who has reportedly been offered £200,000, and former Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips, 78. You can read more on this here.
