Jackson Hastings is in line to make his return to the Wigan Warriors side after being named in Adrian Lam's squad to take on Wakefield Trinity.
Hastings, who acted as water boy in the victory over Leigh last week, missed the game having only recently returned to the UK.
He replaces Jai Field in Wigan's only change to the 21-man squad, meaning fullback Bevan French remains absent.
French is now in the UK and Lam hinted that French could feature, but that will not be the case.
It leaves the Warriors another outside back down, with Field operating as winger last week due to the shortage.
Academy product Sam Halsall appears the likely candidate to be included in the matchday 17.
Where Hastings plays, meanwhile, is less obvious. Hooker Sam Powell played the full 80 minutes last week though Lam confirmed there was a plan for him to be given a rest during the game.
On French, Lam added: “We need to get him through the isolation process and get him up to speed with the rest of the squad.
"We need to make sure welfare wise he’s ready to play and healthy. But it’s great he’s back in the country and we can move forward.”
