Betty Crowther found: Pensioner reported missing in West Lothian has been traced

A West Lothian pensioner reported missing on Friday evening has been found safe.

Elizabeth (Betty) Crowther was previously last seen at around 6.15pm on Glebe Avenue in Uphall having been reported missing from Loaninghill Park in the town. Officers said it was "completely out of character" for her to go missing, and they issued a public appeal for information in a bid to trace her.

Police Scotland said they had "a number of police resources" out looking for the 75-year-old.

West Lothian Police confirmed at around 11.30am on Saturday that she has now been traced safe and well in Livingston, while thanking all who shared their appeals for information.
