Bettor wagers $1.3 million on Ohio State in Sugar Bowl

There is school spirit and then there is this:

Someone wagered $1.3 million on Ohio State getting 7.5 points against Clemson in the Sugar Bowl on New Year’s Day in a College Football Playoff semifinal.

The schools played last season and Clemson came away with a 29-23 victory. A repeat of that score would enable the bettor to cash for $2.43 million. However, if you are backing the 6-0 Buckeyes to that tune, you likely want them to win the game outright.
