It has been a contrasting last few days for Tottenham Hotspur's left-backs on international duty.
Danny Rose was part of the England team which were beaten 2-1 by the Czech Republic on Friday night in their first qualification defeat for over a decade
And he came in for some harsh criticism from Manchester United legend Roy Keane after the game.
"Rose gave a performance tonight, my goodness, someone has got to get a hold of that guy. He was shocking, abysmal," Keane told ITV.
"I think he’ll be the same in another three or four years.
"Some players don’t learn from their mistakes, that’s a big problem and at the highest level you will suffer for it."
Ben Davies had a better experience on Sunday as he claimed an assist in Wales' 1-1 draw against Croatia, repaying ex-Tottenham star Gareth Bale for his kind words ahead of the game.
"Ben has been fantastic since he has come in, he has been a consistent performer," Bale said."He keeps improving every year and we are lucky to have him in the squad with us."

Whilst some Chelsea fans are angry with Davies for his tackle on Mateo Kovacic which saw the midfielder substituted, his part in Bale's goal has prompted a positive response form Spurs supporters.
