'Better than Reiss Nelson, ready for the first team!' - Bukayo Saka sends Arsenal fans wild

Unai Emery could have a big decision to make.

Last season, as Reiss Nelson shone on loan at Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga, doubts emerged over the Spaniard's commitment to youth and whether there would be a role for the Englishman to come back to.

So far on the summer tour of the USA, the wide forward has faced competition to impress and force his way into the team from a less expected source.

Not an established name or senior veteran but Bukayo Saka, the 17-year-old academy graduate who followed up his promising performance in the win over Bayern Munich with an electric first half against Fiorentina.

He also featured in the 3-0 win over Colorado Rapids in Denver.

The youngster's impact down the flanks was so telling that some fans even suggested that he has overtaken 19-year-old Nelson.

The argument goes that it is now Saka who deserves a run in the senior team come the start of the season. Nelson can go back out on loan, they say.

After his excellent work teeing up Eddie Nketiah in the 15th minute to put the Gunners ahead, social media came alive with talk of the teenage winger.

Here's the best of the reaction to Bukayo Saka from Twitter.

Last season, Saka scored five goals and set up eight assists for Arsenal's Under-23 team in the Premier League 2 reserves competition, despite only turning 17 in September 2018.
