'Better than Rashford' - Arsenal fans make Bukayo Saka point after England hat-trick

Bukayo Saka scored his first senior hat-trick on Monday evening as England thrashed North Macedonia at Old Trafford.

Starting for Gareth Southgate's side on the right wing, the Arsenal star made it a night to remember as he helped the Three Lions race into a 2-0 lead at half-time. Following an earlier Harry Kane goal, the Hale End graduate doubled the lead with a lethal finish from inside the box after collecting Kyle Walker’s low cross and firing in from an acute angle.

Saka scored his second soon after the restart, collecting a sumptuous Trent Alexander-Arnold pass before lashing home from the edge of the box. Saka completed his first senior hat-trick just moments later, this time coolly slotting home after being picked out by Kane’s perfect pass.

It was a night to remember for the 21-year-old and a number of Arsenal fans took to social media to highlight his incredible performance after he netted his third.

@Drhaybee said: "Most United fans don't want to admit that Saka is better than Rashford currently."

@tom_bond said: "Remember when City fans insisted Foden was better than Saka?"
