'Better than Ozil, the heart the team needs' - Joe Willock has Arsenal fans full of hope

Arsenal youngster Joe Willock has been ear-marked as a potential solution to the replacing Aaron Ramsey next season by fans impressed by his outing against Burnley.

The 19-year-old, who is one of three brothers who are professional footballers playing for three different clubs, showed plenty of promise after starting at Turf Moor.

He made several strong, direct runs through midfield in the first half and won a free-kick in the early minutes after putting the pressure on Tom Heaton.

The one reason Mesut Ozil, Sokratis and Lucas Torreira were dropped by Arsenal at Burnley

The Burnley goalkeeper handled outside his area to gift the Gunners a chance from a dead ball situation. While they could not profit from the opportunity, it was the least Willock's hard work deserved.

At half-time, he boasted a 90% pass completion inside the Burnley half and went very close with a turn and shot on the edge of the box before the break.

Could he be the long-term successor to Ramsey? According to one supporter, he might already be a better option compared to another established player at the Emirates.
