'Better than Messi, filthy!' - Spurs fans go nuts over what Eric Dier did in training in Madrid

Mauricio Pochettino and his Spurs team are now stepping up their preparations for Saturday's Champions League final against Liverpool.

The squad landed in the Spanish capital on Wednesday evening and they will use Real Madrid's Valdebebas training base over the next two days, with the Reds then using the facilities on the morning of the game.

Spurs will also take to the pitch at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium on Friday afternoon as Pochettino and Jurgen Klopp face the media to preview the showpiece event.

Dubbed as 'the greatest sports facility ever built by a football club' on Real Madrid's official website , it will really be home from home for Spurs due to the first-class facilities they use day in, day out at Hotspur Way.

Spurs have uploaded a number of images and videos to Twitter of the team at Valdebebas and a certain one of Eric Dier has gone down extremely well with supporters.

The Spurs media team captured the versatile player netting an unstoppable free-kick as he found the back of the net via the post.

One person on the training pitch even mentioned the 25-year-old's free-kick against Russia at Euro 2016 before he stepped up, with the rest of his teammates applauding him after giving the goalkeeper absolutely no chance.

Plenty of Spurs fans now want Dier to repeat his goal against Liverpool on Saturday evening in the Spanish capital, while one fan even claimed that the England international is better than a certain Lionel Messi at free-kicks.
