Nottingham Forest have made their second signing of the transfer window, agreeing a season-long loan deal for Watford’s Philip Zinckernagel.
The attacking midfielder joins the Reds ahead of their opening Championship game at Coventry City tomorrow afternoon.
And he follows goalkeeper Ethan Horvath in linking up with Chris Hughton’s squad this summer as they target an improvement on last term’s 17th-placed finish.
The Forest boss has made strengthening his attacking resources a priority before the window closes, after his team struggled to find the back of the net in 2020/21.
Zinckernagel helped Watford secure promotion back to the Premier League last season, scoring one goal and weighing in with five assists in 20 Championship appearances.
