Bette Midler shares first look at Hocus Pocus reunion with cast in full costume

The reunion rumours have been floating for a while now.

But Hocus Pocus fans need no longer fret - it's definitely happening, and Bette Midler has given fans their first sneak peak.

It's been 27 years since the original Disney flick which followed witch sister the Sandersons, hit the silver screen.

And for charity, original stars Bette, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy are reuniting "for one night only."

On the eve of Halloween, the three stars will come together for "In Search of the Sanderson Sisters" in aid of Bette's nonprofit New York Restoration Project.

Bette posted a first look to her Instagram page which showed herself, Kathy and Sarah in full costume.

Bette's sent fans into a spin (Instagram)

"Your 3 fav witches -  @sarahjessicaparker   @kathynajimy  & ME - are returning for 1 night only on 10/30 at 8p ET!" she wrote.

"'In Search of the Sanderson Sisters' is the best thing to happen to  #Halloween  since Hocus Pocus + Reeses Pieces. Get your tix now (link in bio) and support  @NYRP   #nyrphulaween."

And Bette confirmed that the event will be broadcast online, so global fans are deprived of the event.

Answering a concerned UK fan, the veteran actress wrote: "Borders be damned! It's a virtual event, you can watch from anywhere!"

She did admit that UK viewers would have to do some "timezone math" to figure out when to tune in.

Sarah shared her own post, with a string of snaps of the three of them in costume.

"The candle was lit," she captioned the post, "For the best possible reason.

"In support of  @nyrp. We laughed, made mischief and even sang a little song that might be familiar.

Fans were overjoyed at the news, one gushing: "wow i've never been more excited for anything ever! thank you for saving my 2020 halloween!"

"Best news in 2020," another remarked.

"THIS IS ALL I'VE WANTED FOR YEARS," a fourth commented.
