For a third straight week, Michigan State Football will be the underdogs.
MSU is a 7.5-point underdog against No. 10 Indiana, according to BetMGM, The King of Sportsbooks. The Hoosiers enter this match-up with a perfect 3-0 record after beating then-No. 23 Michigan, 38-21, this past weekend. The Spartans on the other hand are limping into this rivalry match-up after Saturday’s blowout loss to Iowa, 49-7, and sit at 1-2 on the season.
This will mark the third straight week MSU is an underdog, winning their first game as the underdog (27-24 over Michigan) before losing last weekend against Iowa.
Michigan State has the advantage in all-time match-ups with Indiana, holding a 49-14-2 record. The Spartans have won 10 of the last 11 battles for the Old Brass Spittoon, with the Hoosiers lone victory in that span coming in an overtime battle in 2016.
This will mark only the fourth time these two teams have played while Indiana is ranked, with the last match-up coming in 1993 — which was a 10-0 Hoosiers victory.
