BetMcLean League Cup draw made for third round of competition

The draw for the third round of the BetMcLean League Cup has been made.

The draw was conducted at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park on Thursday afternoon by sponsor Paul McLean and NIFL Chief Executive Gerard Lawlor.

There are four all-Premiership ties, including Crusaders vs Ballymena United and Glenavon vs Glentoran.

  • Ards v Cliftonville
  • Carrick Rangers v Coleraine
  • Crusaders v Ballymena United
  • Glenavon v Glentoran
  • Larne v Dungannon Swifts
  • Linfield v Institute
  • Portadown v Ballinamallard United
  • Warrenpoint Town v Loughgall

Ties to be played on Wednesday, October 13 with a 7.45pm kick-off.

The third round ties had originally been scheduled on Tuesday, October 12 but were moved due to the Bulgaria v Northern Ireland World Cup qualifier on the same date.

However, NIFL says the ties can be reverted back to the original Tuesday evening if both clubs agree.
