Beth's brutal reaction as she catches Daniel with Bethany after Sinead's death on Corrie

Sinead has only just passed away, so Beth Sutherland was understandably upset when she caught widower Daniel Osbourne with Bethany Platt on Coronation Street.

Beth was passing Victoria Garden when she spotted the pair huddled together, and her blood boiled.

Bethany meekly protested that she was only comforting him because he was upset after his wife's death, and Beth was having none of it.

"I'll give you something to be upset about," she told Daniel, giving him a hard slap across the face.

Bubbly Beth, played by Lisa George, has fought tooth and nail for her beloved niece while she battled cervical cancer on Corrie.

She was furious to learn that Daniel had kissed Bethany as dying Sinead waited at home for him in her final hours.

Beth only allowed Daniel back in the flat after Sinead requested to see him, and forgave him for the emotionally-charged kiss before she passed away.

Beth was about to give the young dad, who has a baby boy Bertie with Sinead, another chance until she saw him with Bethany.

"You don't deserve that kid, you don't deserve anything good in your life," she raged.

Bethany had pushed Daniel away when they shared a kiss in emotional scenes last week, but admitted afterwards that she had 'enjoyed' the moment.

Neighbour Sean Tully then told Beth that Daniel had sticking up for Bethany, and she saw red.
