Beth Chapman's family will say their goodbyes in a traditional Hawaiian memorial service in keeping with her wishes.
Mother and grandmother Beth passed away at a hospital in Honolulu this week following a two year battle with throat cancer.
Beth's family were by on side on Wednesday as she slipped away days days after doctors placed her in a medically induced coma.
Daughter Cecily and stepdaughter Lyssa Chapman have now disclosed details of a poignant beach-side memorial that will be open to the public.
The memorial will be held on Saturday June 29 at Fort DeRussy Beach in Waikiki, Hawaii, the island that Beth considered her second home.
Beth's family, including husband Daune - better known as Dog the Bounty Hunter - have invited the public to join them.
There will be a traditional Hawaiian 'Oli chant followed by prayers and then a paddle out into the ocean.
The Chapman family have asked those attending to bring ocean-friendly flowers that can be thrown into the sea, but no leis as the strings can effect marine life.
In a statement they said: "Beth had two homes Hawaii and Colardo. 'I love Hawaii the most,' she said, so she will be sent off in true Hawaiian style, with aloha.
"Duane Chapman is also finalising plans for a memorial service in Colarado and details will be announced shortly. Those wishing to post photos and videos are asked to tag with #alohaoemrsdog"
They explained that 'Oe means 'you' in Hawaiian and that it's customary to say "Aloha 'Oe" when saying goodbye to someone.
Speaking alongside her father Duane, Lyssa said: "We would like to do some sort of water paddle out, we know that for sure.
"It actually makes us feel, you know, warm, to know how much our mother was loved," she added.
TV star Duane announced this week that his wife of 13 years Beth had died at the age of 51.
Breaking the news to fans on Twitter her wrote: "It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain. Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side."
