Betfred Cup draw: Hibs discover group stage opponents

Hibs have been drawn against Dundee, Forfar, Brora Rangers and Cove Rangers as the Betfred Cup draw was made.

The cup competition has a delayed start date of October due to the coronavirus pandemic with 40 sides entering at the group stage.

And the Easter Road side have been put in in Group B of the North section.

All eight group winners and the four best runners-up will go through to the last 16 on November 28 and November 29, where they will be joined by Rangers, Aberdeen, Motherwell and holders Celtic.

Hibs' city rivals Hearts were drawn in Group A with Inverness, Cowdenbeath, Raith Rovers and East Fife.

The games will be played on the following dates:

MD2: Saturday October 10
MD3: Tuesday October 13
MD4: Tuesday November 10
MD5: Saturday November 14
