Super Bowl LVI is here! The bet365 Preview

On Sunday evening, Super Bowl LVI will mark the conclusion of a thrilling NFL season as the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinatti Bengals battle it out for the Vince Lombardi trophy.

The Bengals are looking to complete one of the greatest underdog stories in NFL history by winning their first-ever Super Bowl, against a star-studded Rams team bidding to capture what would be only their second Lombardi trophy in their home city.

bet365 have the Bengals as 7/4 outsiders, and the Rams as 10/21 favourites just days out from the spectacular showdown.

The 56th edition of the Super Bowl will kick-off at 23:30 GMT with UK fans having the option to watch events unfold on both Sky Sports and BBC One, with the contest also available to stream via Now TV and BBC iPlayer.

For a second straight year, the Super Bowl has produced a fascinating quarterback battle. A year after Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes went head-to-head, Joe Burrow and Matthew Stafford will duel to win their first championship.

Joe Burrow has galvanised the Cincinnati Bengals this season in just his second campaign in the NFL, as his side went from 29th in yards and points last year to 13th in yards and eighth in points this term.

Burrow has thrown at least 240 yards in all three playoff games and has done it the hard way, beating the number one seed Tennessee Titans and back-to-back AFC Champions Kansas City Chiefs on the road.

His counterpart Matthew Stafford has delivered in clutch situations as the Rams have overcome both the San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in this year's play-off run.

A dream first season in the City of Angels could end with Stafford holding the Vince Lombardi Trophy - something that never looked likely during 12 previous years with the Detroit Lions

Stafford went 74-90-1 as the Lions' starter and made three play-off appearances without a victory. Detroit never won a divisional title during the former first overall pick's time in Motor City and the team posted winning records in just four of those 12 seasons.

This time though, he is 1/1 to be named MVP in Sunday’s Super Bowl, with Joe Burrow priced at 9/4
