'I’m dressed as Max from Where the Wild Things Are. I had it a couple of years ago for the fantasy-themed Bestival. For the sailor theme, I’m making a homemade sea-hat and a Flavor Flav-style clock. This is my fourth year, and it just seems to get bigger and bigger. My highlight of the weekend is gonna be seeing Hudson Mohawke. Photograph: Andy Hall
Heather: 'It’s such a great vibe being here for the 10th anniversary. It’s cool that it brings lots of people to the island because it’s a beautiful place. We’re dressed as smugglers today. We’re swapping clothes and there have been some good swaps today. A great memory of mine is the first year we were here – and some guy swapped all his clothes for a cow costume.' Hannah: This is Oscar’s eighth festival, but his first Bestival – we’ve been to Camp Bestival, the Secret Garden Party – and he’s fine. He loves them. I think he likes hip-hop. Samantha: 'The theme is naval this year so we went with it! I also have a sea-goddess outfit with big orange hair that I plan to wear. Most of this is from charity shops, which is a bargain. It’s our second Bestival, and so far its great. We’re excited to see Elton, I want him to do Rocket Man!'
