Rangers crashed out of Champions League qualifying during the week and find themselves in familiar territory heading into this afternoon's Europa League draw.
The Ibrox club will be interested in the goings-on at UEFA's HQ at around 12pm this lunchtime, as the league phase draw for the competition is made.
Aside from the heroics of Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side in 2022, it's been Europa League football that's mainly been played at Ibrox over the past seven years since Steven Gerrard's arrival.
Rangers have managed to build themselves a strong coefficient score because of their several successful campaigns in the competition in recent years, none more so than when they reached the final in Seville over three years ago.
So, this sees them as one of the best ranked Pot 1 sides heading into today's draw. Celtic are in Pot 2.
That said, there are undoubtedly some teams Rangers will certainly want to avoid, and others they'd happily take on, with quite the range of opponents they could potentially come up against.
Best
Pot 1: Dinamo Zagreb, Real Betis
Pot 2: Viktoria Plzen, PAOK
Pot 3: Young Boys, Ludogorets
Pot 4: Malmo, Brann
Worst

Pot 2: Fenerbahce, Lyon
Pot 3: Freiburg, Nottingham Forest
Pot 4: Bologna, Celta Vigo
