Best VX Compact loadout in Black Ops 7 to win close and mid-range fights

The VX Compact in Black Ops 7 is a frantic, high‑RPM assault rifle that shreds in close and mid-range fights but runs into problems if you let the recoil and smaller mag size get out of control.

To get the most out of it, keep a setup that makes it snappy while calming the kick and tightening up your handling. Check one of the best VX Compact multiplayer loadouts you can use in BO7, with the right attachments.

Slot Attachment
Muzzle Redwell Shade-X Suppressor
(No Mini-map Firing Ping, Horizontal Recoil Control, Vertical Recoil Control, Recoil Gun Kick)
Magazine MFS Impetus Fast Mag
(Reload Quickness, Bullet Deviation, Recoil Stabilization, Ammo Capacity)
Rear Grip LTI Bulford Grip
(First Shot Recoil Control, Vertical Recoil Control, Recoil Gun Kick)
Laser EMT3 Agile Laser
(Damage Range, Recoil Stabilization)
Fire Mods Bolt Carrier Group
(Fire Rate)

The Redwell Shade-X Suppressor keeps your shots off the minimap while smoothing out recoil enough to help you stay locked onto targets during longer sprays. It lets you take more off-angle peeks and play around lanes without instantly giving away your position every time you shoot.

The MFS Impetus Fast Mag solves one of the VX Compact’s biggest pain points by speeding up reloads. Since this rifle burns through its magazine quickly, being able to get back into the fight faster is crucial.

The LTI Bulford Grip and EMT3 Agile Laser work together to make the gun feel much more responsive, as you get better recoil control, faster ADS, and cleaner sprint-to-fire timings. Bolt Carrier Group lets you chain kills more comfortably without feeling like the gun is fighting you with every burst of recoil.

  • Secondary weapon : Velox 5.7
  • Melee : Personal preference
  • Field Upgrade : Mute Field
  • Tactical : Stim Shot
  • Lethal : Semtex
  • Perk 1 : Gung Ho
  • Perk 2 : Assassin
  • Perk 3 : Dexterity
  • Perk 4 (Wildcard – Perk Greed) : Flak Jacket

The Velox 5.7 makes a sharp secondary choice, as it’s a fast-firing pistol to fall back on when the VX Compact runs dry mid-fight.

Mute Field silences enemy equipment and killstreak audio in a radius around you. Stim Shot bails you out of bad spots by letting you heal instantly and re-challenge after absorbing heavy damage. Semtex is needed for clearing campers, sticking to vehicles, or forcing enemies out of cover.

Gung Ho lets you fire while sprinting and reload during movement, and Assassin keeps you off enemy radar effects and UAVs, making it far easier to reposition, flank, and reset fights without opponents tracking your every move.

Dexterity speeds up your recovery after climbing, sliding, and jumping, so you can keep momentum going. Perk Greed as the Wildcard slots in a fourth perk, Flak Jacket, which rounds out the build by making you much harder to spam out with explosives.

This unlocks the Enforcer Combat Specialty, where after every kill, you get a buff to movement speed and health regen for a short window, rewarding aggressive playstyle and getting back-to-back kills.
