With expansive panoramas of the sea, a sweeping river and an historic bridge, it could be claimed as the best council flat view in Ayrshire.
Councillor Derek McCabe, a professional photographer, captured the beautiful scene from the tallest buildings in Ayr.
The high rise flats are due to be demolished after South Ayrshire Council found out major investment was needed to bring them up to modern standard.
Conservative Councillor McCabe took this shot when calling on a family friend who lived near the top of the 13 storey Riverside Place blocks a couple of years ago.
The Ayr West politician said: “If the flats do come down this is a great view that a lot of residents will lose.
I was visiting a family friend when I asked if I could go into her bedroom and shoot from the window.
It was a couple of years ago and there was a cruise ship in.”
He described it as "the best" council property view in Ayrshire as the outlook includes the sea, river and town.
He said the vista from the properties is different every day because of the changing Scottish weather.
There are 234 flats in the three tower blocks that were built in 1969.
The council consulted with residents on razing the site with 111 households supporting demolition and 99 wanting refurbishment.
Ninety homes are to built in place of the tower blocks.
Tenants will be rehoused in new builds or existing council homes.
The Fort Seafield and Wallacetown Community Council have argued the tower blocks are safe and “good for 30 years.”
