Brits planning walking holidays this summer may want to consider a trip to Edinburgh.
That's because the Scottish capital is home to Arthur's Seat - which just happens to have been revealed to be the UK's most beautiful walking spot.
It's not difficult to see why it's proven such a hit either. The now-extinct volcano is a sprawling green hill which offers up some pretty spectacular views of the city, including highlights such as Edinburgh Castle.
There's a fairly easy short walk you can enjoy which can easily be included as part of a wider trip to the city, or for those who are looking to spend a few hours on a stroll, you can also find trails that can take around two hours and also go through Holyrood Park.
It wasn't the only destination to impress in new top 10 rankings from the outdoor experts at Millets, who looked at Tripadvisor review data to uncover the UK's most scenic walking spots. (You can check out the full list below).

The Giant's Causeway in County Antrim was also a huge hit with visitors. The UNESCO World Heritage Site has been around for millions of years, but when it featured as one of the Game of Thrones filming locations it saw a resurgence of interest from tourists.
The unusual rock formation continues to draw in everyone from intrepid explorers taking on the Giant's Causeway Coastal Route, to day trippers coming to explore the myth and legend surrounding the rocky landscape.

The third spot in the new rankings went to the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol. Boasting a height of 245ft and spanning the spectacular Avon Gorge, it's become one of Bristol's most famous landmarks. (In fact, it's also one of our top picks of Britain's most incredible bridges which offer up beautiful views.)
The Clifton Suspension Bridge Walk is a popular route as not only does it cross the bridge itself, but you'll also be able to enjoy other local spots such as the Leigh Woods National Nature Reserve.

Coastal walks were also popular with visitors, with three of the 10 spots being seaside locations. For example one of the UK's most beautiful beaches Rhossili Bay was a hit, while famous walks such as Cornwall's Lizard Peninsula and the Isle of Wight's Needles also bagged spots in the final rankings.
