Best Twitter reactions from Chiefs’ Week 8 loss against the Packers

Matt Moore started his first game under center in primetime football at Arrowhead Stadium. It was a contentious 60 minutes, and at one point it felt like Andy Reid’s men could shock the entire NFL and come away with a win. That wasn’t the end result and instead, Aaron Rodgers and company left the “Show Me State” with a win.

Here are the best tweets from the Kansas City Chiefs’ 31-24 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Travis Kelce put on a show

Today was National Tight Ends Day and the league’s best TE definitely celebrated it in style. Kelce caught a touchdown pass from Moore in the second quarter to put the Chiefs on the board. It was the 450th catch of his career, and it took him just 88 games to accomplish such a feat. Twitter was on hand to sing his praises.

Aaron Rodgers doing Aaron Rodgers things

The future Hall of Famer did not let up all game, and this touchdown pass to Jamaal Williams was absolutely jaw-dropping. The 35-year-old QB and Williams connected on a 3-yard TD to put the Packers ahead 24-17 at the beginning of the fourth quarter.

Bring Patrick Mahomes back

After Sunday’s loss, it’s safe to say Chiefs Kingdom Twitter can’t wait to see Patrick Mahomes back under center. They hope it comes when they take on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 9. Moore was an acceptable replacement, but it’s time for the reigning MVP to prove the Madden Curse is false.

Well, on to the next. The Chiefs host the Minnesota Vikings at 1 p.m. next Sunday, November 3.
