Best Twitter reactions from Chiefs’ Week 6 loss against Texans

The Kansas City Chiefs did a massive belly flop against the Houston Texans in Week 6, losing the game 31-24 in a disappointing fashion. They came out and dominated through the first quarter of play, but then things quickly deteriorated. By halftime, they were losing the game and continued to struggle as the game progressed. Fans were incensed by the end of the game, questioning everything they thought they knew about this football team. They let out some of that frustration on Twitter and we captured the best of it for you.

Here are the best tweets from the Chiefs Week 6 loss against the Texans:

Return of the Cheetah

Tyreek Hill was magnificent in his return from a sternoclavicular dislocation injury. It didn’t even take him a quarter to get involved in the game. He made a leaping grab and muscled his way into the end zone for the score. It was truly an impressive feat.

His play on the field got a pair of running backs talking.

You’d think that backflips would be off the table after his injury.

Defensive woes continue

The Chiefs’ defense stinks out loud and everybody knows it. It was summed up best by a yelling Carlos Hyde, who shouted into a hot mic after he scored a touchdown: “They can’t (expletive) stop us.”

Patience is wearing thin with the $104 million dollar man in Frank Clark.

A dumpster fire floating down a flooded street.

Fans will start asking this question more and more often.

Perhaps the Chiefs’ defense could make me look like Earl Campbell.

More criticism for Andy Reid’s playcalling

Another thing this Chiefs team isn’t good at is running the football. So naturally, when you’re second-and-14 with the game on the line and have the MVP at quarterback, you’ve got to run the ball, right? Folks are hammering Reid for his decision on this play call.

Brutal is one way to put it.

Yeah, the Texans lost Bradley Roby late and had Philip Gaines on the field.

I certainly gave up at that point.

The Chiefs are back at it quickly this week with their next contest coming on Thursday, Oct. 17. The Chiefs will play the Denver Broncos at Mile High Stadium in Week 7.
