Best Twitter reactions as clip of Westlife singing Pussy Cat Dolls' song Don't Cha resurfaces

There has clearly been a bit of digging in the archives since Westlife announced their comeback.

While many fans would have looked back on some of their career highlights since they announced their The Twenty Tour, some have dug out some of their cringier performances.

In 2006, group members Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily, and Shane Filan played live at the Wembley Arena in London - and one song "stole" the show.

It wasn't Flying Without Wings, Uptown Girl or World of Our Own but a cover of the Pussy Cat Dolls hit Don't Cha.

During the week, a video of the performance resurfaced, with one Twitter user posting the clip. And there were some questionable dance moves to say the least.

The video, viewed nearly 500,000 times in three days, was captioned: "Westlife singing Don't cha by The Pussycat Dolls is interesting." And the reactions have been brutal.

One person said: "I could've gone to my death without seeing Nicky thrust his genitals in that way."

Another said: "This is why we had emigration during the Celtic Tiger."

A third said: "There was an awful lot of gusto in those thrusts... Nearly took my eye out from here, 13 years later!"

A fourth said: "You should have put a content warning on this tweet."

Another user added: "It's the dancing in hoodies and velvet I don't understand.

"Looks like when your mum's boyfriend comes round to help you move house and gets a bit sweaty trying to get the sofa in the van."

It was probably then, when Brian McFadden was finally satisfied that walking out on the boyband in 2004 was the right call...

Pat Flanagan comment: Moved to jeers by Nickey's gyrate expectations

I was at the doctors yesterday with the old prostate problem but I may have to go back again to get some kind of sedative after witnessing Nicky Byrne thrusting his genitalia skywards.

He wasn’t alone, the rest of Westlife were at it as well doing a very strange version the Pussycat Dolls’ “Don’t Cha” where they look like bunch of Chelsea supporters who had few too many.

A lady on Twitter said their routine is “like when your mum’s boyfriend comes round to help you move house and gets a bit sweaty trying to get the sofa in the van”.

I urge you to Google Westlife and Don’t Cha… but only if you have health insurance.
