The best part is that these sales often also include the school holiday dates, so there are plenty of discounts for families as well as those who aren't tied to term times.
Then of course the new year means a whole new set of annual leave to play with for most people - not to mention there are ways you can get 35 days off with just 15 days if you use it wisely.

Best holiday deals for 2020
British Airways has Florida holidays from £399pp , Caribbean getaways from £529pp and European city breaks from £99pp . Book by the 30th January 2020.
Eurocamp currently has up to 40 per cent off holidays in Europe including France, Spain and Croatia, with prices from £350 per party for a week's holiday. Book on the Eurocamp website by the 26th February.
First Choice is offering £200 off 14-night summer holidays , as well as other deals including £100 off a £750 spend, £150 off a £2,000 spend and £200 off a £3,000 spend - you can see the full list here . Deals are valid for holidays between the 1st May to 31st October 2020.
Lastminute.com has city breaks from £89pp to the likes of Barcelona, Berlin, Budapest and Prague. On a post-Christmas budget? You can secure the trips with a 10 per cent deposit. Book by the 31st January 2020.
Loveholidays has up to 40 per cent off holiday packages including the Canary Islands, the Greek Islands, Tenerife, Portugal's Algarve and Spain.
Sandals Resorts has up to 45 per cent off Caribbean holidays including Jamaica and St Lucia, as well as an extra of up to £600 off on selected bookings.
TUI: The travel firm has a number of deals currently available including £100 off when you spend £750 , £150 off when you spend £2,000 and £200 off when you spend £3,000 . Deals are valid for holidays between the 1st May to 31st October 2020.
Best cheap flights for 2020
Europe: Norwegian has one-way fares from £29.90pp , while easyJet has up to 20 per cent off flights to Europe with fares starting from less than £20 each way. Ryanair also has a sale on with thousands of flights under £20 each way.
The USA: British Airways has returns from £261pp to the likes of New York, Norwegian has one-way fares from £134.90pp and Virgin Atlantic has returns from £255pp to the East Coast , as well as returns from £279pp to the West Coast .
Canada: Air Transat has returns from £307pp to destinations including Toronto and Vancouver. Book by the 14th January.
South America: British Airways has returns from £374pp to the likes of Costa Rica, Brazil and Mexico.
Best cruise holiday deals for 2020

Legoland has overnight stays from £36pp including park tickets, as well as Kids Go Free offers on short breaks.
Premier Inn has discounts on thousands of rooms with stays from just £29.50 a night. You can book on the Premier Inn website but they are subject to availability.
Travelodge has launched a huge sale for 2020 with over one million rooms going for less than £29 a night. You can book on the Travelodge website .
