Yesterday we reported the news that Tesco has added thousands of new slots to its online delivery service.
Thanks to a recruitment drive, the supermarket giant has been able to offer up a whopping 120,000 extra slots - a move which has appeared popular amongst shoppers who have so far struggled to get themselves a place on the list.
The additional slots mean that there are now 780,000 available to shoppers each week, instead of the 660,000 that were available previously.
But despite the new slots, according to the Mirror you'll have to wait until 21 April for the next available home delivery and click-and-collect booking, so if you do want to get your shopping delivered, it's best to plan ahead.
To be in with the best chance of getting a slot, check the Tesco website at midnight.
All of the new slots are added at midnight every day, so it'll improve your chances of nabbing one if you're willing to wait up past bedtime.
If you do want to do this, though, remember that by taking a slot yourself, somebody more vulnerable or less able to get out to a physical shop could be losing the opportunity for a home delivery, so be mindful of this, and act with common sense.
You should also only book one slot for yourself. Yes, it might seem like a good idea to book another slot as 'back up', but with so many people struggling to book just one, be considerate! Not everyone will be so lucky, so remember that.
