Armor, Thorns, Regen, and Shield Tome are the best choices to complete the Cactus quest. Thorns will deal more damage to Cactus, letting you kill them faster and take less damage in the process. Armor will reduce damage taken, which is essential for Thorns builds. Shield is great for the extra total health, and Regen is a must if you want a safe way to heal at low health.
Borgar, Oats, and Medkit are all health and healing items that synergize well with this Thorns build. The Epic Spiky Shield works well with Sir Oofie, since it gives Thorns with Armor.
