Best Summoner/Necromancer build in SpiritVale

The Summoner is arguably one of the most fun classes in SpiritVale. Unlike other classes, you can have companions to aid you in battle. Things only get better as you level up and unlock the Necromancer class at level 50. Here are the basics and build guide for the Summoner.

Best SpiritVale Summoner/Necromancer build

The Summoner is not your average class, since your priority is to raise companions or minions. Once you gain access to Necromancer, you will be able to raise undead minions. Irrespective of your level, you will want to prioritize summoning as many companions as possible at any given moment.

Best Summoner/Necromancer Gear

Instead of relying on skills for the Summoner, I focus on the summons. After all, the ability to summon different creatures is the biggest advantage this class offers.

  • Headgear: Jack-o’Lantern provides boosts to all-round defense buff refinement and a chance to autocast Death Coil.
  • Soulbinder Set for chest, shoes, and leg gear, since you get to raise Physical and Magic Defense while boosting HP, Summon HP, and MP.
  • Face: Use any item that raises your magic defense, base defense, and casting speed.
  • Accessory: Bronze Crescent and Iron Ankh are the perfect accessories to get with this build. Once you get them, pair them with the Grim Reaper card.
  • Utility: I like the Fruit Bowl equipment because it raises your weight limit and healing, but you can go with any option you like.

The Corporeal set is the best choice for Artifact, as it raises the ability of your summons. The focus with this build is to make your summons as strong as possible, instead of you having to rely on your abilities.

Best Summoner/Necromancer Skills

With the Summoner, certain skills will always remain in this build, even when you promote from the Summoner to the Necromancer. Once again, the idea is to invest points into those skills that improve your summoning abilities.

  • Summon Mastery: The backbone of your build, since it raises the power of all your summons.
  • Soul Strike: The protective bond you form with your summon is essential to survive certain situations.
  • Dissonance Well: Slows down all enemies trapped within a radius, and also debuffs their attacks.
  • Guardian Bond: You create a protective bond with your summon, and the ability helps you to regenerate some of your lost health.
  • Skeleton Mastery: Absolute necessity once you promote into the Necromancer build. It raises the potential of all your undead summons.
  • Bone Spear: Throw a projectile that does an incredible amount of damage to the enemy.
  • Bone Spikes: AoE attack that deals damage to any enemy trapped within the radius of the spikes emerging from the ground.

To excel as a summoner and a necromancer, you will have to summon plenty of creatures. I personally focused more on the Necromancer side of things, with the Abomination, the Skeleton, the Mage, and the Wraith being absolute necessities. You will want to summon the Wraith last, since it has the longest cooldown.

Out of all the classes I have tried so far, Necromancer is my favorite. It takes a bit of learning since you will rely on your summons rather than your abilities. Once you get the hang of it, this build can help you clear all endgame content.
