Best social media reactions to Spotify Wrapped 2023

The much-awaited Spotify Wrapped is back, allowing its listeners to get a snapshot of their favourite music from the past year.

The streaming platform has typically released the feature on Wednesdays at the end of November –— last year it was on Wednesday, November 30, and in 2021 it was Wednesday, December 1. In 2023, it arrived on Wednesday, November 29.

From the top artists to the most played tunes, listeners can tune in through the Spotify app and online to unlock the new features.

"Our 2023 Wrapped campaign is a celebration of the realest moments that defined your year on Spotify," Spotify said.

"It includes the top artists, songs, albums, and podcasts that reflect how more than 574 million fans around the world listened, and a personalised user experience with even more interactive features, 2023 Wrapped has everything you need to celebrate your year of listening.:

It added: "This year, we’re introducing the Wrapped feed on your Spotify Home screen on mobile, creating a one-stop spot for all things Wrapped. Get our Best Of editorial playlists, access to merch from your top artists, options for viewing concerts near you, and much more."

"We’re bringing listener favorites into the experience this year, including DJ and Blend. Our AI DJ will guide you through your Wrapped, serving up your music with commentary about your most streamed artists, genres, and songs this year. But don’t wait! The DJ experience is only available for the first week following the launch of Wrapped.

"You can also invite friends to create a Blend with all of your top songs by tapping the 2023 Wrapped Top Songs filter to combine your favourites into one shared playlist."

Spotify Unwrapped 2023 is also going one step further, on November 30 when Wrapped will be brought to live. Some of Spotify's biggest artists will play in a live show for their fans.

It will be broadcast live on TikTok and be hosted by Harriet Rose, Big Zuu, Max Balegde and shxtngigs. Click here to join the livestream.

Artists that fans can expect to see at the event include Sam Smith, Chase & Status, Charli XCX, Kenya Grace, Strandz, Raye and Libianca.

After Spotify Wrapped launched, users of course took to social media to share their thoughts. Here are some of the best reactions.
