The best Sky TV deals for 2023 as provider launches free trials, £9 Sky Cinema and free Sky TV and Netflix bundle

Sky is one of the most popular TV providers in the UK thanks to its range of high-tech devices, easy-streaming set-ups and access to hundreds of channels. Products like Sky Glass, Sky Stream and its broadband and streaming bundles are always in high demand, so we've rounded up the best offers to look at this 2023.

As well as it's range of services, Sky is also well known for offering an expensive price with its streaming packages starting at around an average of 26 per month, with no room to leave.

Those who sign up to Sky are normally tied into yearly contracts, so getting a good starting price is key. In fact, this 2023 Sky has introduced its first ever free trial deals, where shoppers can get Sky Stream and Netflix for no cost for the first month and opt out if decided it's not for them.

Although focusing on entertainment bundle deals, the deals featured below aren't the only price drops we've seen so far this year. Following the launches of the iPhone 14 in Yellow and Samsung's Galaxy S23 Ultra, the provider gave shoppers hundreds of pounds off, as long as they took out a specific bundle.

The iPhone 14 can still be found for £400 cheaper if bought with Sky's 75GB of data plan, and the S23 Ultra is £456 cheaper with the same 75GB data plan.

The biggest saving we've seen so far is £144 slashed off Sky's Q Lite bundle, closely followed by the £116 saving on the Sky Sports, Sky Stream and Netflix bundle.

Often associated with high quality, Sky's packages tend to come with expensive long-term costs and comitments, as its contract average between 18 and 36 months, so if the starting price is high customers will have to stick to it, or pay an exit fee to leave.

We've rounded up the best 2023 Sky TV deals spotted so far, so customers can tie into money-saving deals.

Free Sky TV and Netflix for three months with Sky Glass bundle

The Stream boxes connect via wi-fi (Sky)

Sky Glass is the provider's only smart TV fitted with integrated Sky Stream, so users can access all featured channels from their remote and voice 'hello Sky' activation.

Sky Stream is the newest addition to the Sky TV lineup and users can watch boxsets, films and channels without a satellite dish. Everything is done over Wi-Fi, which means the only necessity is good broadband.

The deal gives customers the three Sky Glass, Sky TV and Netflix all for £14 in the first three months, as the Sky TV and Netflix subscriptions are reduced to £0 at first. After the first three months the price will rise to £26 a month for £18 months. Customers will also have to pay the £14 a month too for the Sky Glass TV, unless chosen to pay the £699 of the TV price in full.

Sky Cinema for £9 a month

The deal includes free access to Paramount+ (SKY • GETTY)

A Sky Cinema package will give you access to a whole host of Sky Original films, as well as the massive range of hit shows and movies on Paramount+ at no extra cost.

This means you'll be able to enjoy hundreds of Hollywood films like Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Spider-Man: No Way Home and Scream for no added cost.

The £9 a month deal is for existing Sky customers only and includes a saving of £6.99 a month, compared to if the service is taken out separately at £15.99.

£116 saving on Sky Sports, Sky Stream and Netflix

The bundle includes the satellite-free Sky Stream (Sky)

This deal is similar to the above free Sky TV and Netflix offer but includes sport packages and entertainment channels as opposed to the Sky Glass device.

Customers will pay £20 for the first month, as Sky Entertainment and Netflix is £0 at first, from month two it rises to £26 on an 18-month contract. The Sky Sports part of the package stays at £20 a month for the full 18-months, in all in customers will pay £20 for the first month, then £46 for the remaining £17 months.

In total this deal gives customers a saving of £116.

Half-price Ultrafast Broadband

Sky's Ultrafast Broadband (SKY)

Sky's 2023 better than half-price broadband deal is on its Sky Stream, Netflix, and Superfast Broadband bundle. Customers can get the package for £13 for the first month then pay £39 in full for the remaining £17 month time of the 18 month contract.

Customers choosing this deal will also benefit from no installation or sign up fee.

£144 off Sky Q Lite

The Sky Q box offers similar channels to Sky Stream but relies on satellite connection and cannot just be used over wi-fi (SKY • GETTY)

This Sky Q Lite offer gives customers a saving of £8 a month, which over the total 18 month contract period comes to £144.

Sky's Q Lite bundle is made up of Superfast Broadband and the Sky Q Box, which gives users access to hundreds of TV apps. The plan is reduced from £41 down to £33 a month.

On its own the Sky Q subscription box costs £28 a month, so users will get Superfast Braodband thrown in for just £5 more than the individual Sky Q price. The deal also means Superfast Braodband is reduced to just £5 a month within this bundle, a broadband plan that costs anything from £17 a month on its own.
