Best RPK Warzone 2 loadout build and attachments for Season 1 Reloaded

The RPK LMG is the absolute meta in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 right now, even after the Season 1 Reloaded update.

The much-anticipated Season 1 Reloaded update for Call of Duty: Warzone 2 went live earlier this week, with Activision confirming all the changes in the full update patch notes. As expected, there was a bit of weapon rebalancing in there, but there was no mention of a nerf for the all-powerful RPK. There was also no mention of sniper rifles in the patch notes, which is good news for the snipers out there, as they're super usable at long range.

The RPK LMG not only retains its position as the absolute META weapon right now in Warzone 2.0, it actually feels more powerful than before, and I can speak from personal experience having been destroyed by it on many occasions. But, picking the RPK as your primary weapon in your loadout is just the beginning, because you need the right build to suit your playstyle. Luckily, there are dedicated loadout websites out there like WarzoneLoadout to do all the hard work for you.

We're detailing the best RPK Warzone 2.0 loadout build to use right now, including all attachments, even after the latest Season 1 Reloaded update.

Best RPK Warzone 2 loadout build

The RPK LMG retains its position as the absolute META weapon right now in Warzone 2.0 (Activision)
  • Muzzle: Polarfire-S
  • Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
  • Optic: Aim-OP V4
  • Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
  • Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity
  • This build is the absolute meta right now, with devastating damage at long-range that will leave enemies trembling in your wake. But, this build can also be a bit hard to handle, in comparison to other weapons. If you're more of a casual player, there are different attachments you can use to make the gun easier to control.

Here's an RPK build which is built for ease of use:

    • Muzzle: Sakin Tread-40
    • Optic: SZ SR0-7
    • Stock: Heavy Support Stock
    • Underbarrel: VX Pineapple
    • Rear Grip: Demo-X2 Grip

If you find the meta build too much trouble, try the above build for a while and work towards the meta build by changing certain attachments when you feel ready. You won't deal as much damage with this build as you would with the meta build though.

If you've tried both of these builds but are still not feeling this weapon, we've rounded up some of the best weapon loadouts, which includes the TAQ-56, an assault rifle that's a decent alternative to the RPK.
