Best Robinette build in Megabonk

Robinette is a great character pick to advance through the Forest high tiers in Megabonk. Her starting Jump Height is the only starting stat that's slightly higher than other characters, but her passive Stonks skill, which increases her damage based on total Gold in the inventory, makes her special.

Robinette starts with a bow, which is a clear hint that she synergizes well with other projectile weapons. Here are the best Weapons, Tomes, and Items that make the best build for Robinette.

Best Weapons, Tomes, and Items for Robinette

Build Best Good
Weapons Bow (Starter)
Bananarang
Aegis
Revolver
Axe
Firestaff
Tomes Gold Tome
XP Tome
Cursed Tome
Quantity Tome
Agility Tome
Cooldown Tome
Luck Tome
Items Moldy Cheese
Golden Glove
Backpack
Golden Sneakers
Golden Shield
Phantom Shroud

The best weapons for Robinette are Bananrang, Revolver, and Aegis. The first two items are projectile-based, which will synergize well with her bow and some of the Tomes she can use. Aegis is the protection most ranged characters need to survive, and it's the best pick for Robinette since Quantity upgrades also increase the number of shields it spawns. Axe and Firestaff are decent alternatives, though they're not as good as Bananarang and Revolver.

Robinette works best with Gold, Quantity, XP, and Cursed Tomes. Gold Tome is a no-brainer when you see it, since it gives you more gold and increases damage thanks to her Stonks passive. Quantity is an amazing pick if you have all the best weapons I've recommended, since they are all ranged and get extra projectiles from Quantity. XP, Cursed, and Luck Tomes are great picks to let Robinette's level and power scale as fast as enemies' for Tiers 2 and 3, so choosing any two out of these three Tomes is recommended.

Focus on items that give Robinette more damage, projectiles, and gold, such as Moldy Cheese, Golden Glove and Sneakers, and Backpack. Golden Shield is a niche pick because you don't want to get hit using Robinette, but it might be useful to get extra gold when hit in some builds. Phantom Shroud is great if you're aiming for high evasion.

Utility from Shrines you should pick includes extra jumps, movement speed, and projectile speed. Remember to also break as many pots as you can during your runs to increase your gold and Robinette's damage.

When to spend gold using Robinette

I've found it useful to spend gold with Robinette early, until chests cost more than 150 gold. Then, I start holding gold to get the Stonks bonus and only spend it again when I'm hoarding it like a dragon, when a chest costs 10 to 20% of my total gold, around the 1,500 to 2,000 gold mark. This way, I can get new items but don't lose much damage from spending gold in the process.
