The Tennessee Titans (4-5) fell to the Carolina Panthers (5-3), 30-20 on Sunday in Bank of America Stadium.
The Titans certainly have some plays on both sides of the ball they’d like to have back, but there were some bright spots on offense and defense throughout the game.
Here’s a look at some of the best plays of the Week 9 contest.
1. Ryan Tannehill’s last-minute touchdown scramble.
Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill did make some mistakes on Sunday, but this rushing touchdown at the bottom of the fourth quarter could have given the team one more chance to win the game if the two-point conversion attempt that followed would have been a success.
2. Derrick Henry takes it to the house on the screen pass.
Derrick Henry may have only gotten two carries in the first half, but the Titans incorporated him as a heavy part of both the passing and the ground game in the second half.
Good things happen when you give the ball to Derrick Henry, and this showcased that.
3. Derrick Henry scores on the opening drive of the second half.
The Titans gave the ball to Henry seven consecutive times at the top of the third quarter, and put their first points of the day on the board because of it.
4. Harold Landry snags his first-ever interception.
The Tennessee defense started off hot, with outside linebacker Harold Landry capitalizing on his first career interception. Carolina likely would have scored on this drive if it weren’t for Landry’s takeaway.
