While Oliver Skipp has been creating scenes in Spurs training and other Spurs youngsters had a tough match against Dulwich Hamlet, one Tottenham Hotspur prospect has been impressing all-comers elsewhere.
Luke Amos joined QPR on a season-long loan earlier this summer and has made quite the impact during pre-season, particularly against Oxford United.
The 22-year-old grabbed a first half brace as the Rs won their friendly fixtures as he netted two headers in as many minutes away at the Kassam Stadium.
Amos made his senior debut for Spurs at Newcastle at the start of last term after impressing on the pre-season tour in the USA. However, he went from heaven to hell with a cruciate ligament injury not too long after in an Premier League 2 match which kept him out for the whole season.
His previous loan spells at Southend and Stevenage were big helps to his development and regular football in the Championship could be the ticket once again and a massive boost after his injury hell.
The youngster is certainly leaving fans impressed so far with both Spurs and QPR supporters raving about his exploits.
Hopefully Amos can continue to impress for a full season and possible work his way back into Mauricio Pochettino's plans for next year.
