Thousands turned out for this year’s Rock ‘n’ Roll 5k as an entire weekend of music, running and fun begins.
The 5k kicked off this morning from Kings Parade on the Waterfront before finishing at the M&S Bank Arena.
Runners took in some of the best views as they made their way along the length of Liverpool’s iconic waterfront.
But some of the best sights today were the runners themselves, who turned out in force to rock, roll and run.
The rest of the weekend will be filled with the Rock ‘n’ Roll marathon and half marathon, which will see thousands more take to the streets of Liverpool - and a whole host of bands to entertain them.
