Best pictures as Arsenal down Everton to start United States tour with Baltimore win

Arsenal continued their 100 per cent record in this summer’s pre-season with a 2-0 win over Everton on Saturday night.

Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium hosted the Premier League sides as Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka hit the first-half goals for the Gunners.

Mikel Arteta praised his new striker after the match, and told the club website: “He creates chaos, he creates uncertainty and he’s always on your shoulder,” the boss said.

“He’s always there to nick the ball off you, he’s always in front of the goal. He’s a real threat and this is what we need.

“And then he’s the one. The moment we give the ball away he is straight away active and putting pressure and getting his team behind him.

“He has a lot of leadership skills, I can see straight away what he’s doing with the boys and he’s the type of guy that we want.”

Next up for Arsenal is a trip to Florida for a pair of matches against Orlando City and Chelsea to see out their tour of the United States.
