The Chicago Bears were defeated by the Minnesota Vikings, 29-22, but it wasn’t a demoralizing defeat. If anything, it was an encouraging one.
That had everything to do with the development of quarterback Justin Fields, who played his best game this season. The Bears overcame an 18-point deficit to take a lead before ultimately falling short as another fumble doomed a potential comeback drive.
