The Chicago Bears delivered an impressive 16-6 win over NFC North rivals the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, which showed that — even without several key starters — this Bears team is for real.
Chicago’s defense held the NFL’s leading rusher Dalvin Cook to just 35 yards rushing, and they were dominant even without starters Akiem Hicks, Roquan Smith and Bilal Nichols.
The Bears’ offense was able to keep the chains moving and do just enough in the victory, and that was without starting QB Mitch Trubisky, who exited the game on Chicago’s first offensive drive with a left shoulder injury.
With Chicago’s third consecutive win, they tied the Green Bay Packers atop the NFC North with a 3-1 record, although Green Bay holds a half game lead after Week 4.
