Best Oral-B and electric toothbrush still available in the Amazon sale

You don’t need to know much about dentistry to know that nine out of 10 dentists recommend electric toothbrushes - you have just watched a lot of TV.

While we haven’t verified with a poll of every dentist worldwide, it does just make sense that these higher powered brushes would be more effective (and was found to be true according to a study from the Oral Health Foundation). In comparison to manual brushes, these rechargeable devices move over the entirety of the tooth’s surface in a circular and massaging movement that tackles plaque and food debris.

Electric toothbrushes from the likes of Oral-B and Panasonic tend to have sensors that warn when you’re brushing too hard and either switch-off or signal to you when the recommended time of two minutes is up so you know how long you’ve been brushing for.

They are also easier to get to those hard-to-reach areas at the back of the mouth, particularly when it comes to Oral-B’s signature oscillating round heads and have bulkier constructions that make them better for those with dexterity problems.

The only downside? The RRP can sometimes be in the hundreds. Unless you shop during the sales like the Amazon Spring Sale.

Amazon Prime Day is one of the biggest shopping events in the calendar and is the retailer’s most sought-after discount days in the diary. Each year, the online giants take the opportunity to slash prices across its wares for the typically two-day extravaganza. The Amazon Spring Sale is set to follow suit.

What is the difference between the Amazon Spring Sale and Amazon’s Prime Day?

You must have a Prime subscription to take part in the Amazon sale. This costs £8.99 a month or £95 a year and gives you a whole host of benefits that don’t end at the discounts. There’s also unlimited next day, Prime Video, free Kindle books and much, much more to enjoy. This is not the case for the Amazon Spring Sale where anyone can get involved.
