Noelle is one of the most complex characters to build in Megabonk, but she can become the best mage in the game when done right.
It takes a fair bit of time to unlock Noelle. She's a pure page who excels in dealing damage from range. However, you'll have to build her according to her strengths, while trying to nullify her weaknesses as much as possible.
But first, you'll have to add her to the roster.

How to unlock Noelle in Megabonk
As I said, Noelle isn't the easiest character to unlock. You'll have to get Frostwalker, her signature weapon, to obtain her. It's a fantastic crowd control tool, but you'll have to kill 1,000 enemies with Ice Cube.
The Ice Cube is a legendary-tier item that won't spawn easily. The odds will be low, but make sure to kill 1,000 enemies or more once you get it. That will unlock the Frostwalker. The next task is duplicating Ice Crystal three times in a row using the Microwave. The Ice Crystal is a common-tier item, so you can easily obtain it.
However, you'll first have to unlock Ice Crystal by getting 50 kills with Frostwalker. This will allow you to use the Ice Crystal in the Microwave 3 times in a row, making Noelle available in the shop.

Type | Best Choices | Good Choices |
---|---|---|
Weapons | Frostwalker (primary) Aura Lightning Staff Bananarang |
Bone Flamewalker Revolver |
Tomes | Size Damage Projectile Speed Attack Speed |

Items | Gym Sauce Forbidden Juice Turbo Socks Overpowered Lamp |
Clover Moldy Cheese Lightning Orb |
The Frostwalker leaves a snowy trail that damages and freezes enemies when caught in it. The weapon has a unique passive that leads to 1% Duration gain per level. Higher duration allows the snowy trail to remain in place for longer, which deals more damage. It is very similar to the Flamewalker, which leaves a fiery trail that burns enemies unfortunate enough to get caught.
Your second-best choice is Aura. This weapon makes it easier for you to level up Noelle, leading to a longer attack duration. Lightning Staff and Bananarang are good choices; any projectile-based weapons work well with her.

Since Frostwalker already grants bonus duration, focusing your tomes in other departments is better. A larger size of your attacks, along with higher Projectile Speed and Attack Speed, will generate more attacks and do more damage. Lastly, don't forget about the damage tome that can consistently generate more threats from all your attacks.
Gym Sauce and Forbidden Juice are two items that greatly help this build. While the former provides more damage, the latter raises the crit chance percentage. Remaining items will largely depend on how your run is progressing with her.
Noelle isn't an easy character to master. Weapons like Frostwalker have fantastic potential, but they're hard to master. You'll have to position Noelle accurately to do significant damage, and it's also crucial to use other projectile-based weapons that don't require much aim. Having Aura is a must, as it has no aiming system and ensures a smooth leveling path.
If you're willing to try someone else from Noelle, there are plenty of great builds in Megabonk.
