Coffee-lovers are often willing to spend a premium, whether on their daily cafe run or investing in a high-spec coffee machine that does everything except grow the beans. But what if you could enjoy barista-quality coffee at home for less? While there aren’t any promo codes currently available for Nespresso, the brand has launched some impressive deals on its coffee machines and pods. We’ve rounded them up below.
Can you save with a Nespresso Plus subscription?
Other brands, such as L'or, Lavazza and Grind, offer pods that are compatible with some Nespresso machines, but if Nespresso’s own coffee is your absolute favourite, it may be worth getting a Nespresso Plus subscription. This enables you to sign up to receive your choice of coffee capsules every one to four months.
If you sign up to receive 70 capsules a month, which is an average of just over two coffees a day, you’ll get an extra 10 capsules for free. But if you sign up to receive fewer capsules than this, you won’t save money on the coffee itself by getting a Nespresso Plus subscription, as you’ll pay the same price per capsule as you would at the Nespresso store.
We wouldn’t recommend signing up to receive more coffees than you’re likely to drink just to get the 10 free capsules. However, even if you buy fewer than 70 capsules, it may still be worth signing up for Nespresso Plus, as you’ll get free delivery, plus the convenience of not having to manually reorder your coffee. You’ll also get discounts, such as 35 per cent off new coffee machines and 20 per cent off accessories.
Importantly, you can pause or cancel your Nespresso Plus subscription at any time, or modify your coffee selection and how often you receive it, free of charge. Check the Nespresso Plus terms and conditions for full information.
What are the benefits of Nespresso & You?
By registering with Nespresso and making your first purchase, you’re automatically signed up to the Nespresso & You loyalty programme. This has three levels (connoisseur, expert and ambassador), which are linked to how long you’ve been signed up and how many purchases you make.
You can read the full list of benefits on the Nespresso website but, in short, you’ll unlock benefits such as 20 per cent off accessories, exclusive sales and VIP events as you move up the levels.
We wouldn’t suggest buying additional products just to increase your membership level, but if you’re going to make the purchases anyway, it’s worth keeping track of what rewards you’re earning in the process.
