Best music from James Bond films to be performed by live orchestra in Glasgow this month

While we don’t fancy all the combusting planes, ambiguously accented villains and near-death experiences, we wouldn’t mind spending the night with Bond. James Bond.

Thankfully we can do just that - minus the guns and explosions - as the RSNO bring a night of Bond music to Glasgow.

To celebrate the return of James Bond to cinemas and of live music to Scotland’s concert halls, the world famous orchestra will be performing all the most beloved Bond theme songs for a night that is sure to leave you shaken and stirred.

RSNO musicians Dávur Juul Magnussen and Emily Nenniger will be joined by West End star Emma Lindars, and Strictly Come Dancing vocalist Lance Ellington, for the special performance on Saturday, October 30 at Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall.

Organiser said: “The RSNO puts on black tie and tux and pours itself a Vesper Martini with some of the sassiest signature tunes in cinematic history: six decades of girls, gadgets, supervillains and knockout songs, performed by Emma Lindars and Strictly Come Dancing vocalist Lance Ellington.

“Well, you know what they say: Diamonds are Forever. These tunes are every bit as enduring – and as brilliant. Nobody does it better!”

Tickets start from £19 and you can get them HERE.
