Apple iPhone 16 Pro
An essential for every content creator on the move is a decent camera. However, many top photographers agree that nowadays, an iPhone does the job just as well.

Apple iPhone 15 (256 GB)
The standard iPhone 15 boasts several noticeable upgrades over the iPhone 14: a USB-C port, an interactive screen cutout instead of a plain notch, and an improved chip and 48MP camera borrowed from last year’s iPhone 14 Pro. The last of those is especially significant as the iPhone 14 had a 12MP main camera.
As usual, Apple is promising even better-zoomed shots, low-light snaps, and stabilisation across video and stills. Notably, the iPhone’s screen is also twice as bright outdoors, which should make it a lot clearer when it is sunny.
Looks-wise, the iPhone 15 has squared-off edges compared to the more rounded curves of its predecessor. All told, it offers a substantial jump over the iPhone 14 and should wipe the floor with even older models.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra
Samsung’s S25 line has dropped, a family comprised of three devices: the S25, the S25+ and the largest of the lot, the S25 Ultra.
The biggest - and most expensive - S25 Ultra is the superlative option. Design-wise, it appears to be simply a refinement of last year's S24 series.
The Ultra sports slimmer bezels and flatter edges making the screen feel bigger, but you can still use it one-handed - useful if you're juggling keys/ a dog lead/ fresh copy of The Standard in the other. It's 14g lighter than its predecessor and comes with a built-in stylus for precision writing, photo editing and selecting.
