Best Michonne perk builds in Dead By Daylight

Rick and Michonne Grimes are finally in Dead By Daylight, and they come with three unique teachable perks each. These two The Walking Dead heroes know how to handle monsters, both alive and undead, so let’s see what we can do with the perks they bring, starting with Michonne.

Michonne’s perks in Dead By Daylight

Michonne may not have her trusty katana with her in the Entity’s realm, but she still knows how to handle herself. She is fiercely protective of her team, and this is evident in her perks.

  • Last Stand – This perk activates after being in the Killer terror radius without being chased for 80/70/60 seconds. When active, perform a rushed vault action to trigger it. This stuns the Killer for 3 seconds when they are within 2.5 meters. This can only be used once, and once it is used, it is disabled for the rest of the trial.
  • Teamwork: Throw Down – When you blind or pallet stun the killer, this perk is triggered. It grants endurance status to all injured Survivors within 24 meters of you for 6/8/10 seconds. The other Survivor also gets to see the Killer’s aura for 10 seconds.
  • Conviction – When in the dying state, after healing another Survivor for one health state, this perk activates. Press the active ability button after reaching at least 25% recovery progress to instantly recover. This inflicts the broken status and causes you to enter the dying state automatically after 20/25/30 seconds.

Best Last Stand build

With the perk Last Stand, you may want to use other stun perks to become an absolute nuisance to the Killer. The perk requires you to be in the Killer’s terror radius to charge it up, so a perk like Iron Will, Quick & Quiet, or Urban Evasion would be beneficial there. This perk would also work well with Michonne’s other perk, Teamwork: Throw Down, especially during the end-game collapse if the Killer has No One Escapes Death.

Perk Description
Last Stand Perform a rushed vault to stun the Killer for 3 seconds.
Decisive Strike This perk activates after being unhooked and is deactivated if you perform a conspicuous action like repairing or healing. Perform a difficult skill check after being picked up to stun the Killer, making them drop you from their grasp.
Head On This activates when you have been hiding in the locker for 3 seconds. Perform a rushed exit from the locker to stun the Killer when they are outside the locker.
Quick & Quiet A rushed action is silent. This perk has a cooldown of 20 seconds.
Optional alternatives:
Iron Will
Urban Evasion
Iron Will silences any noise and grunts you make, making it easier to hide from the Killer while in the terror radius.
Urban Evasion allows you to crouch walk faster, making it easier to hide from the Killer while in the terror radius.

Best Teamwork: Throw Down build

Teamwork: Throw Down helps your fellow Survivors escape a Killer while you use your actions as both support and a distraction. Combining this with another item to help you blind on the go would be the most helpful. There are various ways to blind the Killer in Dead By Daylight, including flashlights, firecrackers, or party starters, which need no perk to activate. Perks like Flashbang or Blast Mine are also useful blinding perks. We think Teamwork: Throw Down would come in clutch at end game, particularly when you are all rushing to get every Survivor out of the Exit Gates.

Perk Description
Teamwork: Throw Down When you blind or pallet-stun the Killer, Survivors nearby will gain endurance, making them invulnerable for up to 10 seconds.
Windows of Opportunity Allows you to see the auras of all windows and pallets around you.
Bond Allows you to see the aura of Survivors around you.
Flashbang After repairing the generator for a while, you can enter a locker and craft a Flashbang grenade. This can then be thrown down in front of a Killer to blind them.
Item: Flashlight Use to blind the Killer at a window or pallet, or even when picking up or carrying a Survivor.

Best Conviction build

Conviction can be used multiple times in a trial, but requires you to heal another Survivor before it activates. This means that once you use the perk, you must go to heal a Survivor once more to activate it again. With that in mind, you may want to take a speedy med kit or a healing perk like We’ll Make It to ensure you get those heals in. As far as we know from our time playing the PTB, this perk also works extremely well with the Nicholas Cage perk Plot Twist where you put yourself in the dying state, recover fully, and end up fully healed. We shall see if this gets nerfed when the chapter is fully released… If so we will be sure to alter our build accordingly!

Perk Description
Conviction After fully healing one health state of another Survivor, you can recover from dying state when you reach 25% recovery progress. Then, after 30 seconds, you are automatically downed again.
We’ll Make It Allows you to quickly heal another Survivor after they are unhooked.
Plot Twist Instead of being downed by Conviction, use Pot Twist to down yourself and fully heal after recovering.
Unbreakable Helps you recover from dying state faster.
Optional:
Tenacity
Allows you to crawl and recover at the same time.
