The four-day Amazon Prime Day 2025 sale is nearing its end. If you need to upgrade your worn-out mattress, now’s your last chance to do it for less, as I’ve found the best mattress deals in the summer sale event.
I’ve covered Prime Day for several years, and while the shopping bonanza delivers a huge variety of bargains on everything from beauty and air fryers to Apple products and laptops, mattresses are where you’ll find some of the biggest and best deals going.
As The Independent’s resident sleep expert, I’ve been busy tracking mattress prices ahead of Amazon Prime Day to make sure every deal here is a genuine one and, better still, many of the models on offer are ones I’ve personally tried and tested. So, having assessed everything from comfort and support to breathability and how well it stands up to real-life use (read: pets, children and the occasional tea-spillage), you can rest assured that these mattresses are worth your money.
This year, deals are dropping from top-rated and IndyBest-approved brands like Simba, Nectar and Silentnight, with some of my favourite mattresses plummeting to the lowest prices I’ve ever seen. So, what are you waiting for? Your best night’s sleep could be just one click away.

The IndyBest team of shopping experts and I have been covering Amazon Prime Day for many years. We track the price of mattresses all year round and know how to spot a good deal from a bad one. Plus, we only recommend discounts on products we’ve either tested or that are made by brands we trust. In terms of mattresses, I’ve been researching the best mattress brands and testing a whole host of different options in my guide to the best, so I’m personally recommending the ones that I think are actually worth your money.

Simba hybrid mattress, small double: Was £799, now £599, Amazon.co.uk

Still our favourite mattress for edge-to-edge support, there’s an excellent deal on the old-school Simba hybrid mattress. In my guide to the best mattresses, I found that “This hybrid sits right in the middle of the market, but it outperforms some beds nearly three times the price.” Mattress deals can be a little dodgy, but this is a genuinely exceptional deal. You can buy a small double for £200 cheaper than at Simba’s site.
DreamCloud luxury hybrid mattress, double: Was £699, now £593.99, Amazon.co.uk

This hybrid mattress earned a spot in my review of the best mattresses for 2025. In the guide, I said: “It challenges the brands at the top end of the market at a much lower price.” Despite being lightweight, comfort is not compromised. “The mattress combines memory foam and reinforced edge pocket springs to provide incredible support while feeling soft and comfy.” Best of all, it’s an absolute steal at full price – but it’s now even cheaper for Amazon Prime Day.
Panda bamboo mattress topper, king: Was £174.95, now £148.50, Amazon.co.uk

If you’re struggling to sleep in the heat, this took the top spot in IndyBest writer Lois Borny’s review of the best cooling mattress toppers. “gel-fused memory foam is engineered to be cooler than regular memory foam, containing gel capsules that draw heat from the body, while extra space allows heat to escape. Plus, the cover is breathable,” she wrote. Having tested it during a June heatwave, you can trust it’s a worthy addition to your sleep set-up this summer (and beyond).
Simba hybrid pro, single: Was £799, now £599, Amazon.co.uk

You can currently save 25 per cent on a single Simba hybrid pro – you won’t even find a discount this big if you buy directly from Simba. When tested by Zoë Phillimore, she found it “incredibly comfortable” and stayed “at a regular, comfortable temperature all night long”. If you’ve been waiting to upgrade your sleep setup, this is a Prime Day deal worth adding to your basket.
Simba hybrid pillow: Was £109, now £87, Amazon.co.uk

Need a fresh pillow for your new mattress? Simba’s temperature-regulating hybrid pillow helps to keep you cool throughout the night, and appears our list of the best pillows. Inside you’ll find hundreds of foam cubes that you can add or remove to customise the pillow’s height and firmness. Usually retailing at £109, you can currently pick one up for £87.
Jay-Be natural fresh bamboo e-pocket kids’ mattress: Was £300, now £195, Amazon.co.uk

Looking for a new mattress for your kids? This one scored highly in our guide to the best. IndyBest reviewer Zoe Phillimore found that along with good temperature-regulation, this mattress features a “comfort layer”, which allows for “a gentle sink, to prevent any pressure on growing joints.” There is also a pocket-sprung layer and a rebound layer, for more substantial support. This deal is around £80 cheaper than you'll find at John Lewis and Argos, too.
Nectar memory foam mattress, king: Was £519.60, now £435.49, Amazon.co.uk

If you’re after a king-size mattress, this is one of the best deals right now. I’ve reviewed plenty of Nectar models over the years, from the premier to the hybrid mattress. This model is made from memory foam and has a quilted cooling cover that’s perfect for the ongoing heatwave. The brand claims that it moulds to the contours of your body for a supportive night’s sleep, and our tester agreed. Katie found that the mattress is “both comfy and supportive, and it is exceptional at ensuring you don’t disturb your partner.”
Dormeo octasmart plus memory mattress, double: Was £699, now £384.53, Amazon.co.uk

One of my favourite budget mattresses is currently reduced by 45 per cent. While the mattress didn’t quite qualify for my most recent review of the best mattresses, I have tested it and was impressed with its breathability and support, so it’s still one to consider, especially now that it’s on sale. You get a lot of bang for your buck with the octasmart mattress, with the firm and supportive design not compromising on any comfort.
Stompa S flex airflow pocket children’s pocket spring mattress: Was £229, now £160.30, Amazon.co.uk

If you’ve had your eye on a new mattress for your little one, now could be the time to invest. This exact model was chosen as the best mattress for children in our round-up, so you know you’re making a savvy purchase, and there’s currently 30 per cent off.
Our tester said the mattress had been designed with “thoughtful construction” and praised the combination of a cushioned top layer and pocket springs for providing “ample support for growing bodies”. “It’s pretty hard to go wrong with the Stompa S flex airflow pocket sprung mattress – it’s durable, comfortable, supportive and specifically designed for kids,” they said.
Stompa S flex airflow children’s mattress: Was £179, now £125.30, Amazon.co.uk

This mattress was dubbed the best budget buy in IndyBest's guide to the best mattresses for children, and it's now even cheaper thanks to a 30 per cent discount at Amazon. Our tester, Zoë Phillimore, praised the mattress for being incredibly comfortable, and enjoyed the massage top layer of foam with its undulating surface.
Slumberdown airstream memory cool mattress topper: Was £81.99, now £65.05, Amazon.co.uk

If the heatwave is disrupting your sleep, a cooling mattress topper could help make your nights more comfortable. This Slumberdown topper was named our best mattress topper for hot sleepers, with our reviewer praising its cooling abilities. They found that, “On particularly humid nights, it efficiently wicked away moisture, ensuring we remained dry and fresh”.
Silentnight airmax mattress topper: Was £55, now £42.74, Amazon.co.uk

This mattress topper has been around for a couple of years and often drops in price on Amazon. Our reviewer, Zoe, found that it added “an extra level of cosiness and comfort” to her bed, and she “never overheated” thanks to its mesh material. If this sounds like the right topper for you, we’ll make sure to tell you if Amazon slashes the price even further.
Simba hybrid foam kids bunk bed mattress: Was £399, now £299, Amazon.co.uk

In terms of the best children’s mattresses, Simba is another of our favourite brands. I’m pleased to see its single and bunk bed-suitable mattress reduced by £100 this Prime Day. This mattress received high praise in our review, where our tester noted the “soft and spring foam” and how their helper tester had “a very comfy night’s sleep”.
Snuggledown hotel mattress topper, king: Was £58.99, now £39.69, Amazon.co.uk

If you want to bring a bit of hotel luxury to your sleep set-up, you can do so for less than £40 with this mattress topper deal. When I tested the Snuggledown hotel mattress topper, I enjoyed the “sink-in” feeling that it gave me, as well as the pressure relief it provided for my joints. It’s thick and plush, so it’s not one for the summer, but it’d be perfect for when the colder months arrive.
Silentnight airmax pillow: Was £16.99, now £10.50, Amazon.co.uk

If you’re looking for bedding to keep you cool in this heatwave, you’ll want to check out this deal on our best budget pillow. It has mesh sides, which encourages cool air to circulate and our tester, Zoe, said that she was “kept temperate all night”. There’s almost 40 per cent off for Prime Day when you buy a single airmax pillow, knocking off £6.50.
