Ikora, the Hidden is the Mythic version of the regular Ikora in Destiny: Rising. While she still wields the same weapons and is an Offense Void character, her kit is a lot more about spamming abilities and blowing things up.
Here’s the best Ikora, the Hidden build in Destiny: Rising.

All Ikora abilities in Destiny Rising

Ikora, the Hidden is a mobile damage dealer who can constantly spam both weapons and her abilities. The gameplay loop is to use the Void Traversal ability to reload and buff weapons, shoot, follow up with Stellar Projection, then rinse and repeat.
Here are all of Ikora, the Hidden’s abilities in Destiny: Rising:
- Void Annihilation (passive): Landing grenade launcher and rocket launcher shots, as well as triggering Volatile Blast by applying Volatile Energy. generates stacks of Annihilating Light. At max stacks, grants an empowered Void Traversal, which enters the Void Annihilation state. In the Void Annihilation state, accumulate more Annihilating Light to get ability charges and deal increased ability damage.
- Stellar Projection (Signature): Fires a Stellar Projection, dealing damage and overpenetrating enemies. The damage scales with the number of enemies hit and the Volatile Prisms recalled. Volatile Prisms are generated when defeating targets affected by Volatile Energy.
- Void Traversal (Signature): Dashes through the void, reloading the equipped weapon (can overflow up to 200 percent) and generates a Micro Black Hole. Micro Black Holes are launched when firing a weapon, dealing damage, applying Void Energy, and confining enemies.
- Starfall (Super): Creates a rain of Falling Stars that deal damage and apply Volatile Energy. Targets within 10 meters below the Falling Stars creation point are also confined.
Apart from her core kit, the Spilled Volatility Weapon Mastery at level four triggers an additional Volatile Blast, increasing the Annihilating Light gains. Finally, for survivability, Light’s Convergence relic trait grants an overshield when casting or dealing damage with an ability.
Best Ikora, the Hidden weapons in Destiny Rising
Light grenade launcher

| Weapon | Rarity | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Present Fleet | Mythic | Gauntlet: Onslaught Mythic Weapon Engrams Shifting Gates |
| Dvergar Drill | Exotic | Battle pass Exotic shop |
The best primary for Ikora, the Hidden is the Present Fleet Arc light grenade launcher, which is also the only Mythic option in the game. You want to use a Mythic weapon to leave space for an Exotic rocket launcher. There are perk options like Fraternity to increase the damage when all fireteam members are alive and Polyploidy to permanently increase the weapon’s damage.
If you don’t have an Exotic rocket launcher, you can use the Dvergar Dril Exotic grenade launcher as the primary weapon. Unfortunately, if you missed the season when it was available through the battle pass, the only way of obtaining it is through the Exotic shop, which is expensive and, in this case, isn’t really worth it.
Rocket launcher

| Weapon | Rarity | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Truth | Exotic | Battle pass |
| Two-tailed Fox | Exotic | Strike: Heroic Exotic Weapon Engrams |
| Four-horned Ram | Mythic | Gauntlet: Blitz Mythic Weapon Engrams |
In the Power slot, the absolute best weapon for Ikora, the Hidden is Truth. It’s a Void Exotic rocket launcher that holds three rockets in the magazine. This means you need to use Void Traversal only once to shoot three more rockets, greatly increasing your DPS.
Another Exotic rocket launcher that you can use is the Two-tailed Fox. While it doesn’t have three rockets in the magazine, it fires two rockets (three if you have the first catalyst) that lock onto enemy targets. It can still put out decent DPS, although significantly less than Truth.
The best Mythic option is the Four-horned Ram. As an Aggressive Frame, it offers the highest DPS among Mythic rocket launchers and also comes with perk combinations like Vorpal Weapon with Polyploidy.
Best Ikora, the Hidden Artifacts in Destiny Rising

| Slot | Artifact | Effect | Attributes |
|---|---|---|---|
| First slot | Undaunted Blazar | Gaining an overshield also grants damage resistance. | Overshield Bonus Ranged Damage Resistance Elemental Resistance Defense Boost |
| Second slot | Resolute Rift | Increases max overshield and boosts overshield gain efficiency from the wielder’s abilities. | Overshield Bonus Ranged Damage Resistance Elemental Resistance Defense Boost |
| Third slot | Ring of Morale | Gaining an overshield grants a damage bonus for six seconds. | Ability Strength Signature Boost Void Boost Weapon Enhancement |
| Fourth slot | Undaunted Spiral | Reloading weapons via abilities increases damage dealt for 10 seconds. | Ability Strength Signature Boost Void Boost Weapon Enhancement |
In the first Artifact slot, go for the Undaunted Blazar to also gain damage resistance when gaining overshield. Ring of Abundance is also a decent Artifact, but if you spam abilities too often (especially if you have Ikora’s first Talent), and have Overshield Bonus as a stat, increasing overshield potency is pointless, as you’ll be at maximum overshield most of the time.
The rest of the Artifacts are extremely straightforward. Resolute Rift increases the maximum overshield and its gain efficiency. Ring of Morale increases your damage when gaining an overshield, and Undaunted Spiral increases damage when using Void Traversal, both of which are easy to trigger.
For Artifact stats, Overshield Bonus is a must-have defensive stat to maximize overshield gains. At the same time, Weapon Enhancement, Signature Boost, and Ability Strength all greatly increase the damage of your entire kit.
