Best horror films to watch on Amazon Prime this Halloween

As Halloween draws nearer, so do cosier evenings and cups of hot chocolate in front of the sofa. It's the perfect time to start bringing out the Halloween classics - and there's plenty to choose from on Amazon Prime Video. 

Amazon Prime Video is full options including the classics and new releases to get stuck into and get in the spooky spirit.

A membership for Prime Video subscription costs £5.99 a month, or if you're already a Prime customer, you can pay £7.99 for all of the benefits. If you're just trying out the platform for the first time - use the 30-day free trial, just remember to cancel at least 24 hours before if you don't want to incur any subscription charges.

Family favourites include Tim Burton classics Corpse Bride and Dark Shadows.

Tim Burton's Corpse Bride (2005)

When it comes to this genre, Tim Burton films are classes always worth the re watch, it's also a suitable option the whole family can sit and enjoy.

If you're looking for something new and scary to watch, this horror featuring Katie Holmes is one well worth adding to the list.

What better family to enjoy around the Halloween season, than the Addams family of course.

The Little Vampire (2018)

Perfect for little ones at home that are keen to get in on some lighthearted Halloween-inspired action.

The Nun (2018)

Demons, evil nuns and strange happenings. Perfect for Halloween.

Mara (2019)

Follow criminal psychologist Kate Fuller  as she is assigned to the murder of a man who has seemingly been strangled in his sleep.

Truth Seekers (2020)

It's not a movie, but it's release on Amazon Prime on the 30th October means it's one to binge watch on Halloween.
